On Oct. 27, the photo exhibition “SeiMilano - Tale of a Metamorphosis” set up in the spaces of the Milan Triennale ended
A journey to discover a new landscape that, through images, documents its human face and changes in time and space, offering valuable insights for a contemporary reflection on the city.
This important work of urban regeneration carried out in the Milan area was told through the photographs of the Urban Reports collective. The exhibition collected a selection of shots, taken from a five-year photographic campaign (started in 2019), in which the authors captured the highlights of the transformation of the landscape, paying continuous attention to the space of the construction site and the birth of the new inhabited park.
The photographs on display recounted an evolution, which starts from the potential of the site, meets the creative genius of the two designers involved - architect Mario Cucinella and landscape architect Michel Desvigne - and gives us unprecedented perspectives of the renovated site. The images recount the complexity of change in a large portion of the territory of a city that has been able to embrace the principles underlying urban and human regeneration policies and interventions.
